About EVP & WHAT IS EVP?
It EVPs an event where human-sounding voices are heard on recording tape, in radio station noise and other electronic media. EVP Can be captured on video as well through the recording of White noise in your television set. EVPs are most often captured on audiotape.
The voices are not heard during the time of the recording; it is only when the tape or audio file is played back that the voices are heard. The majority of the time recordings will need some form of audio amplification in order to be clearly heard. Some EVP is more easily heard and understood than others. The voices heard in an EVP recording can be of any gender such as man, woman, and even a child. Usually EVP is spoken in single words, phrases, and occasionally in short sentences. EVP can also be a simple grunt, groan, or even laughter in some cases. EVP has been recorded speaking in various languages.
QUALITY CLASSES OF EVP:
EVP Class A: Easily understood by anyone with little dispute. They are often the loudest and require no audio amplification or filtering.
EVP Class B: This class of EVP is characterized by warping of the voice in some syllables. The EVP recording is often lower in volume or may seem at a greater distance than class a. This is the most common class of EVP.
EVP Class C: This class of EVP is characterized by extensive warping. It is often the lowest in volume often at the volume of a wisper and is very difficult to understand
WHERE DO THE VOICES COME FROM?
There are many theories of where the voices come from. Here are just a few of the many theories that are publicized to the public.
1. The voices on your EVP recordings are those of the afterlife. Many researchers go to cemetaries to seek EVP recordings and most often they are successfull in their ventures. This method of phenomenon is called instrumental transcommunication or ITC.
2. The voices come from those of a different dimension. This theory is based around other theories that there are multiple dimensions of existance. The only flaw to this theory is the question how does another dimension know our foreign languages.
3. The EVP comes from the researches own mind. Its been suggested that researchers thoughts can be projected onto an audio tape.
4. Some believe EVP voices are that demons and angels are responsible for the recordings.
5. Others of course this is the skeptic crowd say the voices are either hoaxed, random noise that some think are voices, or just real voices already on tape, or voices picked up by interfearance from cell phones, radio, or other sources.
